There is more than one way to be creative. Sometimes I think I may have tried them all. I was a professional musician (violinist and choir director) for many years in Los Angeles (my birthplace), 2 small towns in South Dakota, and in Denver for 20 years. I also was a Lutheran pastor for 8 years in South Dakota and had some books published.
However, over the last few years I have been working very hard on digital art. Using the computer and computer software is similar to learning a musical instrument: You work to gain technique so you can express the heart of the music. It is the same for digital art: You work to gain technique and fluency on various software in order to express the heart of the image.
Currently I live in Muskegon, Michigan with my wife of 47 years, Jane, who is the pastor at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
