Description
The foundering ship and the empty factory in the background are the only remainders of a failed sulphur mine on the boundary of human expansion into the universe. Apparently the distances were too great and the quality of the sulphur too poor to support the effort. And so it was abandoned. The universe, of course, takes no notice of this, but continues its infinite cycles in the form of moons, planets, stars, galaxies and galaxy clusters. Will mining operations resume in the future? Who knows.
