The outreach of the New Deal was very broad. This included the natural resources of America were needed to be preserved and their protection expanded. In our poster we see a fairly frequent experience of every driver the rural areas—wildlife crossing directly in front of you. And you can bet your pension that there will be 6 to a dozen more right behind it! Well, changing the bad habits of deer is beyond our capacity. But we can keep our eyes wide open as we drive down those dark country lanes.
