Description
My interpretation of Mote's hymn brings out the fact that hope is sure and certain, but also ravaged and holed by our world of stress, sin, and sorrow. Hope can often feel this way: out of line, holed, scuffed, and tortured. Yet hope endures, for hope in the New Testament is not based on one's feelings or intensity of devotion, but on the once-for-all event of our Lord's life, death, resurrection and, very important in Hebrews, his ascension to the right hand of God. There Jesus ever lives to pray for and strengthen his people.
I used WC_Rhesus_A and WC_Rhesus_B fonts.
