Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Thank you so much for your comment, Barbara. When I began to work on this piece I was afraid that there wouldn't be adequate color contrasts. But Photoshop brought out the subtle blues and reds very nicely.

I like the treatment that you put to this piece Chuck

Artist's Description

Hauled out beside a cement shed, this wooden boat slowly disintegrates under the steady pressure of the elements. It has been here so long that the bottom of the boat is filling in with gravel and plant life, and the sideboards are literally coming apart at their seams. Whatever the reason for its abandonment, this boat has a haunting beauty that is difficult to nail down. Personally, I enjoy the subtle colors and how the drab colors of the boat contrast with the brilliant colors in the background. Was this boat ever used on that river? I guess we'll never know.

About Chuck Mountain

Chuck Mountain

Chuck's creative background is wide and varied. He was a professional violinist, a published author, a multilingual graphic designer, a community college teacher, a Lutheran (ELCA) pastor, and a book designer (interior and covers). As a result, his work could be broadly categorized as digital art. His graphic design influences his digital art; and his digital art has features of his design work. In other words, they overlap. Someone put it this way: "What you do is not traditional art, and it isn't strictly graphic design. It's somewhere in-between." Chuck says he couldn't have said it better.
