Description
Once bright red and ready for its task, this forsaken boxcar disintegrates under the pitiless assault of the elements. I wonder why it ended up here. Was it too expensive to repair or too damaged? More than likely the railroad could no longer operate profitably and shut down operations, leaving what could not be economically dismantled or repurposed. And so the boxcar sits in this hidden spur to the junkyard, a fading memory of better times.
